1972 Pre-Olympic held at Rangoon (Burma).
1973 Went to Canada for marriage.
1974 7th Asian Games held at Tehran (Iran).
1975 Aga Khan Gold Cup Dhaka (Bangladesh).
1976 Afghan Jassion celebration Football Tournament at Kabul (Afghanistan).
1976 Medrekka Soccer at Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
1977 Afghan Jassion celebration Football Tournament at Kabul (Afghanistan).
1977 Zambian Soccer Tournament Central Africa as Vice Captain.
1977 7th President Cup Seoul (South Korea) as Vice Captain.
1977 10th Kings Cup held at Bangkonk as Captain. Beat South Korea 1-0, India beat S. Korea after 15 yrs.
1978 Aga Khan Gold Cup (Silver Medal) held at Dhaka as Captain and was declared best player of the tournament.
1978 8th Asian Games held at Bangkonk (Thailand) as Captain.
1980 IGP/PAP & CSO Punjab Police did not allow participating in Pre-Olympic held at Singapore due to The All India Police Games held at Pune on the same date. At that time S. Gurdev Gill was also Captain of Indian Team. The Punjab Police won the Gold Medal beat BSF.

3. Footballer of the Millennium by Delhi Sports and Journalist Association in 2000.
4. Police Medal for Meritorious Services on the occasion of Independence Day in 2000.
5. Retired as commandant training CISTC Kapurthala on 30th April 2008.
6. Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports and Information & Brodcasting, Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore felicitated the Football Legend Gurdev Singh former Indian football team captain, in New Delhi, for his contribution to the sport.
