Parminder Singh "Asian Star Footballer"
Parminder Singh (Renowned Asian Star Footballer) joined JCT as Football Coach in the year 1995. He is graduate and has done Diploma in Football Coaching from Sports Authority of India (NIS Diploma) and has done AFC (Asian Football Confederation) "A", "B"& "C" Licence Coaching Courses. Besides this he has done AFC "B"& "C" Licence Conditioning Courses. He was one of the participants in FIFA Futuro-Ill Administration & Management Course which was conducted at AIFF Football House, New Delhi. During his playing career, Mr. Parminder Singh Kang has set a record of playing 19 years for JCT and in that period he had represented JCT in19 Federation Cups, 19 Santosh Trophies. He had the honour to represent India Team in various International Assignments in the years 1975 to 1986. Mr. Parminder Singh Kang has brought Laurels for JCT and Punjab State by winning Major ALL India Tournaments for JCT and Santosh Trophies for Punjab State. He was declared as "Best Player of the decades" by AIFF in the year 1992. He had the honour to represented India as member of "Asian All Star Football Team". He was conferred with "Maharaja Ranjit Singh Award" (a top level state award) by Government of Punjab in the year 1983. He was also declared as "Best Player of the year 1984" by Delhi Sports Journalists Association, New Delhi.
