Jit Singh Khabra

Jit Singh Khabra

Jeet Singh has been a resident of Canada for a long time, but even after 25 years, he remembers well that his first article was written by me in Ajit. This brought him significant recognition in the football world. In reality, remembering goodness is what humanity is about. Now, the current time has taken you to a level where you are unrecognizable. You are becoming known for qualities like respect, love, and honor, just like a fresh glass of water. Therefore, the problems of our society are increasing year by year.

Kharapur is a village known as the birthplace of football players. From there, Jeet Singh Khabra has achieved many milestones in his sporting career. He even became the best player of the Durand Cup. He shone in the Indian football world through JCT FC. Sardar Juginder Singh considered this beloved sport as devotion and passion. He worked hard and showed commitment to reach special milestones. Hard work, dedication, and love were essential aspects of his life that he embraced with great determination. His playing style often trapped the hearts of opponents and other kings in a net. Despite this, he never stopped, but rather moved forward with greater enthusiasm. This is the essence of his life's journey.

At a very young age, he became an excellent athlete. He joined the coaching camp in Mahilpur, Wing Wing, under Coach Ali Hasan, where he showcased his skills in the playing field. He excelled in the National School Games and was selected for the India Camp. My friend, Shivjeet Rao, believed that Jeet Singh showed remarkable achievements after Harmandan Singh. After serving in the Punjab Police, he joined the JCT Phagwara Club under the Electricity Board. In 1982, he played for the Rural Punjab team in Patna for the India Camp. He played matches in Goa as part of the Junior Punjab team. He was very happy when he received immense love for playing in Assam. He was the only player from Punjab selected for the camp. After the India Camp in Kochi, the Indian team played four matches with Italy. He succeeded in becoming an international player. DCM Cup: Jeet Singh scored a goal against East Bengal. From here, he was included in the senior North India team. In 1986, he became the captain of the Junior Punjab team and led the team to the final after 25 years, where the Punjab team emerged victorious. In 1987, he successfully scored a goal in the semi-finals of the Federation Cup. His performance in the victory at Visakhapatnam was praised. He also played in the Airline Gold Cup this year. In the DCM Cup final, after ten years, JCT Phagwara won. Jeet Singh was honored along with the other players from India. Jeet Singh was also part of the winning team in the Durand Cup, defeating BSF, West Bengal, and Mohammedan Sporting in the final and achieving a splendid victory. Mohun Bagan's team had won this competition for the first 15 times.

Jit Singh, who took incarnation in the third year of the freedom struggle, continues to be a topic of discussion in many competitions with his dedicated playing style. He left behind the Indian atmosphere and settled in Canada. It is unknown whether he receives such respect there or if he only fills his pockets with notes. The inspiration from his elder brothers and the enthusiasm received from his coaches and teammates have made him strive for higher goals. His father, S. Juginder Singh, and mother, Darshan Kaur, also paid great attention to his health. His brother, Pal Singh, is also associated with the Punjab Police. Jit, the beloved son of two sisters, Sukhwinder Kaur and Gurinder Singh, is living a comfortable life in Canada with his life partner, Sukhwinder Kaur.
