In 2004, the Indian Junior Team went on its first overseas tour and won the Governor's Gold Cup and L.G. Cup in Delhi. Due to my impressive performance, I was selected for the National Football League by the Tata Academy.
In 2006, I started showcasing my football skills by joining the Sporting Club Goa. With my remarkable achievements, I continued to progress further. In 2009, I joined East Bengal. As a top-ranked club in India, my profile shone even brighter. I made my mark in the Federation Cup by scoring goals, creating a sensation. I was awarded the Best Player in the Main A Division Match and the National League in 2008 in Kolkata. On October 13, 2009, I tied the knot with Ramanik Kaur, a girl from Kalewal Bhagta. My daughter Shayin Khabra is following my footsteps and preparing to make her mark on the field.
Harmanjot is continuously excelling in the field of football in the state of East Bengal for the past seven years. He is the sole Indian footballer among the top five scorers in the state. He has played more than 1380 minutes in the Indian Super League. He has also been included in the top five tacklers of the league, with 43 successful tackles, making him a formidable defender.
