Karanjit Singh, who hails from a small village in Punjab, India, is currently playing football for the Chennaiian Football Club in Goa. When he stands in front of the goalposts, he becomes like a Chinese wall, displaying his skill and dedication. He always pays tribute to his coaches, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi, Parminder Singh, Manjit Singh Panam, and Principal Ajit Singh, whenever he mentions his achievements. In reality, he never forgets to acknowledge their contributions to his sporting and mental development, as they motivated him to excel in the field. His elder maternal uncle, Amarjit Singh, himself a football player, ignited his passion for the sport. This passion led him to play for the J.C.T. Club in Phagwara, where he honed his skills at a young age. This was a significant achievement for him. He attributed his success in football and personal growth to his grandparents, Savarn Singh, Jaswinder Kaur, and his uncles Kamaljeet Kaur and Tarnjeet. Even today, he resides in the same village. From an early age, he brought fame to his entire family with his achievements. On June 18, 1918, when Sahans, a traditional festival, was celebrated jointly with his wife, Tuhiina Dhar, it brought joy and celebrations to their home. He solves every problem through dialogue and discussion, just as he applies all his acquired knowledge on the football field. Fearlessly speaking his mind is a special trait in his daily life. He never hesitates to show respect to the talented individuals. He feels happiness when he acknowledges their contributions. Hard work, dedication, determination, and leadership qualities are instilled in him by his family. These qualities have propelled him to achieve great heights in football, but he never loses his humility.

From 2005 to 2009, he played the Santosh Trophy four times. His team won the national championship twice during that period, with him as the captain. Karanjit Singh, the goalkeeper, possesses courage and exceptional reflexes. He never resorts to foul play on the field. With his towering height of 182 centimeters, he successfully intercepts balls from even dangerous angles. Both of his legs are equally strong and capable. JCT Club from Phagwara from 2004 to 2010 and later Salgaocar Football Club in Goa until 2016. Since 2017, he has been showcasing his technical skills in Chennaiyin Football Club.

In 2014 and 2018, he played the FIFA World Cup qualifiers with great pride. He won the SAFF Cup in 2011 and 2016, and his team was the runner-up in the 2013 Nehru Cup. In 2012, he also won the Nehru Gold Cup with his outstanding goalkeeping skills. He led his team to victory in the I-League 2010-11, Federation Cup, and Durand Cup. In the I-League, his impressive performances as a goalkeeper earned him the title of Best Goalkeeper three times. He was honored with the "Fans Player of India" award by the Football Players Association of India. In the five matches of the SAF Cup held in India on December 11, 2011, he did not concede a single goal. His performance gained recognition and admiration worldwide. They say that half the game is in the hands of the goalkeeper. He fulfills his responsibility at every level and receives applause. He possesses qualities such as agility, jumping, stretching, stamina, and proper execution. He has also achieved several national and international accolades in Punjab. In the 2017-18 season, he showcased his technical skills in the Indian Super League team Chennaiyan FC. His achievements include competing at various national and international levels. He was appointed as a free agent by Football Sports Development Limited to promote the Indian Super League. After representing the Under-23 national team, he has now been selected for the senior national team, playing in a dozen matches. His sporting career is vibrant and full of victories. His smiling face influences everyone around him. When he guards the goalposts on the field, he appears as an epitome of talent and artistry.
