My teaching career of 25 years has been a great pride and joy in the village of Bharta Ganeshpur near Mahilpur. Along with my hard work, several individuals have contributed significantly to my journey, including Coach Jasbir Singh, Sarpanch Rashpal Singh Lalli, Sarpanch Kulvinder Singh, Numberdar Takdir Singh, Youth Sanjeev Kumar, Writer Jagjit Singh Ganeshpur, and staff members Ram Tirath Kaur, Harsh Bala, Harbaksh Singh, Dalwant Singh, Bupinder Saini, Satvir Kaur, Pawan Kumar, and Manjinder Singh, among others. Jasbir Singh, who first excelled as a football player and then obtained coaching certifications, has achieved remarkable success in his coaching career. Since Sikh National College, Banga, he has been actively fulfilling his role as a coach at Prin. Harbhajan Singh Academy. Under his leadership, the trained athletes have showcased outstanding performances in various top-level clubs in India. His hard work and dedication deserve commendation.

Jasbir Singh, a young boy from Bharta in Mahilpur, has gained popularity in the game of football. His parents, Surjit Kaur and Gurdiyal Singh, not only gave him birth but also blessed him with good health. He was born on the 14th day before the celebrations of independence in the sixth year of the twenty-first century. He not only speaks but also measures his words carefully. Kashmir Kaur, who understands the essence of time, became his better half on March 9, 1994. It is due to her support that he has achieved remarkable accomplishments. He initiated his sports career at the Government Higher Secondary School in Mahilpur. Later, he soared to great heights at Khalsa College, Mahilpur. The discussions surrounding his achievements motivated him to progress further. In 1987, he excelled in the Inter-University competitions held in All India.

His remarkable performances in inter-university competitions in 1987 earned him recognition. He participated in several prestigious tournaments, including the Durand Cup, where he emerged as the champion in 1992, apart from being a runner-up in the Rover's Cup and Hyderabad Nizam Cup.

Jasbir Singh's exceptional abilities set him apart on the field, and he dedicated more time and effort to showcase his skills. His memorable moment, which is still fresh in the memories of many, was when he scored a crucial goal against West Bengal in a fiercely contested match. He received significant support and guidance from his football coach, Rajinder Sharma, who helped him achieve remarkable accomplishments in his sporting career.

Jasbir Singh Bharta stands as a solitary footballer from his village who has brought numerous accolades. His passion and dedication, coupled with consistent practice, were the two major factors behind his success. In 1993, he was selected for the Indian national team to participate in the National Games camp. His younger brother, Parminder Singh, also follows in his footsteps and has made a name for himself in the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited.

Jasbir Singh's son, Jaskaran, and daughter, Punjeet Kaur, are also excelling in their respective fields and carrying forward the family's legacy. Jasbir Singh emphasizes that today's athletes do not put in as much hard work as they should, which hampers their satisfactory results.
