Jagjit Singh, hailing from Mahilpur Bahowal village, was brought up by his parents, Dilbagh Singh and Surinder Kaur. From there, he developed a passion for sports and excelled in various fields. He consistently showcased his skills and talent on the sports field, especially in football, which became his forte.
Jagjit Singh's determination and hard work made him stand out in the sports arena. He would consistently strive for excellence and push himself beyond limits on the football field. In Punjab, he excelled in top-level competitions, often winning the Best Forward and Best Footballer awards. However, in 2004, due to injuries, Jagjit Singh had to retire from his regular playing career.
